29. October 2019. This years' GRAND PRIX goes to Poland

Members of the jury: Bajko Hromalić (Croatia) head of the jury, AleksandarZograf (Serbia) and Tanja Šljivar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) passed the decision concerning the awards of the International Animated Film Festival BANJA LUKA 2019 as follows:

- GRAND PRIX goes to film ‘’LITTLE SOUL’’directed by Barbara Rupik from Poland. Explanation: Film "Little Soul" stood out from this year's selection by its high standard of technical realization, innovative character, and by a metaphorical and thought-provoking story that complements the film's formal features. Already at the beginning of her career, the author shows an enviable mastery of form which promises a serious author's work in the future.

- Award for creativity and artistic expression goes to film “#21XOXO” directed by Sine Özbilge and Imge Özbilge from Belgium.

- Award for best 2D animation technique goes to film ‘’NATURAL SELECTION’ directed by Aleta Rajič produced by Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

- Award for best 3D animation technique goes to ‘’MAESTRO’’ directed by Illogic Colectif from France.

- Award for best puppet animation technique goes to ‘’IMBUED LIFE’’ directed by Ivana Bošnjak and Thomas Johnson from Croatia.

- Award for best children animated film goes to ‘’PERFECTY NAUGHTY KIDS’’ directed by Tatiana Kiseleva from Russia.

- Special mention goes to ‘’MR.DEER’’ directed by Mojataba Mousavi from Iran.

- Special mention goes to film ‘’ACID RAIN’’ directed by Tomek Popakul from Poland.

- Audience award goes to ‘’VSSANTA’’ directed by Raul Colomer Válcarcel and Aitor Carlos Herrero Larrumbide from Spain.
